2019.07.19 - 2019.09.16
“Art Meets” is a series of exhibition to meet the creativity of new art through the works of mid-career artists. The sixth edition introduces MOMMA Miki (born in 1981) and yang02 (born in 1984). Momma draw horses that is closely related to the history of the area where she was born and raised, and also continues to paint changing landscapes that she witnesses on the way to and from Tokyo after the Great East Japan Earthquake. yang02 is producing works that substitute human activities by technology such as appreciating works and making drawings.
For humanity, art and technology are both means to understanding the world. In order to co-exist with the other creatures on Earth, we must remember that they also have the ability to reconsider the self-confidence of the human through individual inquiries and perspectives.
