Pictures such as those of magnificent natural landscapes, familiar townscapes and ordinary scenes in everyday life can sometimes convey the enormous passage of time and vestiges of memory residing in the site. Questions concerning \u201cthe visible\u201d and \u201cthe invisible\u201d have been a fundamental theme not only in photography but also in art in general.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This exhibition focuses on the capacity of photography to capture such invisible things, together with considerations towards the gaze into the invisible.\u00a0 This exhibition includes many works that the exhibiting artists specially produced in Maebashi city, where Arts Maebashi is located, and some other areas across Gunma prefecture.
